Thanks for the correction...I had a discussion with the divemasters during the most recent trip and they were also referring to these as H. pontohi, so I was planning to go back and review my observations from last year.
I heard about H. pontohi for the first time while in Lembeh. That was my prompt to research the now six known pygmy species, rather than the three I knew of previously. Where did you stay in Lembeh? I was at KBR in April.
On the recommendation of a friend, we stayed at NAD Lembeh - and it was a terrific choice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Were you happy with KBR?
I was very happy with KBR--the resort, the food, and the dive operation. I would go back and heartily recommend it.
